BASIC IRC COMMANDS
/quit - disconnect
/part #channel - part a channel (replace channel with channel or chat room's name)
/connect - connect
/join #channel - join a channel (replace channel with desired channel)
/nick desirednick - change your nickname (replace desirednick with nickname of choice)
type /ns HELP for help with nickname services
type /cs HELP for help with channel (chatroom) services
type /ms HELP for help with memo services
